Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, Christian Taylor began playing the banjo at the age of six and learned to play harmony at 12. After moving to LA at 17 to pursue a career in music, he met his wife, Julie, who played the piano. They have two grown children: Beau (born in 2006) and Abbey (born in 2009). The Taylors moved toLaguna Niguel, CA in 2011 and started producing albums there, often collaborating with local musicians. In 2014 they produced and toured with Grammy-nominated singer literallyKaren unjust conducting Nashville sessions to record the album.
